Have You Seen This Sock?

missing sock

P.S. Happy April Fools! I really am missing a sock. I had the idea to make a ‘missing’ sign for it, and it was a happy coincidence that today is April 1st.

P.P.S. The hounds have been called in for the search. Nothing so far, but it’s definitely not in the washing machine….

  1. Found in (or around) washing machines and tumble driers
Thought to be genetically modified , highly evolved organism. Although never actually sighted evidence points to its habits and breeding cycle. A voracious predator the sock monster preys on single socks always leaving behind one of the pair it has captured. Mystery surrounds this behavior although zoologists surmise this may be an instinctual mechanism for long term survival. Able to cross great distances at speed and unseen there is almost no known method of defense.

Currently there is a research program to capture one and study its life cycle to provide some relief. The only known fact is sock monster numbers are proportional the number of people in residence at one location.

    Happy Day!

    1. Stupid sock monster! I wonder if there’s anything I can trade for my lost sock. That was a special pair of socks, since I got them at the Frozen Toe 10K in January!

  2. Seriously you have two bloodhounds and you still lose stuff? ๐Ÿ˜‰

I always lose socks, and it really upsets me when they’re nice socks! Where the heck do they go??? I hope you find yours!

    1. Haha, it’s rare but it does happen ๐Ÿ™‚ Although technically they are trained in man trailing…

This is the first time I have lost a sock in a long time! Of course it has to be a special once that I got at a race. Boo. And seriously, where are all of these lost socks!?

What's on your mind?
