Turkey Runner is moving!

This will (hopefully) be my final post at turkeyrunner.blogspot.com. This Sunday, April 6, Turkey Runner will be moving to www.turkeyrunner.com!

My new site is already live, but I will be putting the final pieces in place this Sunday. After that point, you should be redirected there, if I have all of my ducks in a row. It has been a lot of work getting things switched over, but I think it’s finally ready!

Any tips you have on making the move from Blogger to WordPress would be much appreciated! Also, let me know if there are any must-have plug in’s you think I should have.

  1. Whenever you move you should pack the cooler in the front of the truck. That way your friends have to help you unload everything before they get to the beer!

    LUD.

  3. I love WordPress! I use a ton of plugins & widgets. Here are the ones I use:
    Plugins:
    AddToAny: Subscribe Button
Akismet (this is the best SPAM protection I’ve found that doesn’t use CAPTCHA since I hate those)
    All In One SEO Pack
CommentLuv (love this one because people’s past posts are linked w/ their comments)
    Statcounter
Page Links To (forgot what this is)
Related Post Thumnails (lists related posts at the bottom of each post)
Social Media Widget (links to facebook, etc.)
Social Stickers (forgot why I use this & the other social one…I can’t remember which does what!)
WordPress Social Ring (forgot what this is)
    WP Social BlogRoll

  4. Looks awesome! You seem to already know more about WordPress than I do, and I’ve been there for a couple of years πŸ™‚ I’m happy you’re moving, because I have to be on my laptop in order to comment on your current blog, which I’m usually not πŸ™‚
